About Our Pastor

 


Pastor E.W. Estell Sr.

 

Rev. Estell was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from California State University of San Bernardino, with a Master of Public Administration degree in 1997 and from California State University of Long Beach with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice, in 1991. Currently Rev. Estell is a Doctoral of Management candidate at the University of Phoenix. In addition to his secular education, Rev. Estell attended Reed Christian College and took courses in Christian Education. In reference to Rev. Estell professional life, he is a Supervising Deputy Probation Officer for the Los Angeles County Probation Department, and an instructor at University of Phoenix. Rev. Estell has been a member of the First Evergreen MBC all his life. He served as a Junior Deacon and a Youth & Young Adult Choir member for many years. Rev. Estell accepted his call to the ministry on February 11, 1991 and became an ordained minister in 1993. He continued as an Associate Minister under the leadership of the late Dr. P.J. Jones. In 2003, Rev. Estell became the Assistant Pastor of First Evergreen MBC. He worked faithfully under the leadership of Pastor Emeritus Rev. W.T. Mills. On March 25, 2012, Rev. Estell was elected pastor of the First Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church and was installed as pastor on May 27, 2012. Rev. Estell realized that he could not pastor himself, therefore, on April 29, 2012: he became a member of the Friendly Will MBC. Rev. Chez Lister Sr. Pastor. To God be the glory for all of the good things he has done.
